• Hold a Temporary Partner Visa (subclass 820) for two (2) years, or Dependent Child Visa (subclass 445)
• If the applicant has been in a long term relationship with their partner, the visa may be granted immediately after temporary Partner visa.
• Married or in a de facto relationship with:
  • An Australian citizen;
  • An Australian permanent resident;
  • An eligible New Zealand citizen.

• Main applicant holding a Prospective Marriage Visa (subclass 300): AUD1,285
• Applicants who held a subclass 300 but did not apply for subclass 820 before expiration: AUD1,630
